CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent role ? subject to meeting annual
targets.
BACKGROUND:
Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland?s premier
film event and has built a formidable reputation for delivering the
very best in international film and film talent to Irish and
International audiences each year.
The festival is now seeking a Development and Marketing Manager to
lead fundraising and brand awareness.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Board, the Development and
Marketing Manager will set the development and fundraising agenda for
the Festival and lead all fundraising efforts with a specific focus
corporate and major donor engagement.
The core function of this role is to generate income for DIFF;
therefore, it is essential that the successful candidate has previous
fundraising experience. The Development and Marketing Manager will use
their skills and experience to expand DIFF?s fundraising through the
implementation of a 3-year fundraising plan. As well as possessing
excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, the
successful candidate will have a proven track record in the practical
side of fundraising: researching key prospects; securing
introductions; developing and delivering compelling pitches; working
with and influencing individuals at senior levels; and building and
fostering long-term relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about film, and
ideally you will have knowledge of the cultural space within which the
festival operates. If you?re an ambitious, dedicated fundraiser with
strong research, pitching and relationship management skills, who is
